Since our founding in 2020, MonuMental has developed and grown in a positive direction. We’re very proud of the diversity of our 60+ volunteers and their abilities to contribute their own unique experience and skills to support our mission. Learn more about our Leadership Team below.
Cindy is a rising senior at Atholton High School. In her free time, she enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and playing piano. After high school, Cindy is interested in pursuing a career in biology. She hopes to advocate and inform others about mental health as well as expand MonuMental to reach a wider audience.
Lilia is currently a rising senior at Howard High School. She enjoys playing the piano, reading novels, practicing calligraphy, and watching High School Musical over and over again. When is not indulging in one of these hobbies, she is usually catching up with family in her home country of Lebanon. She is passionate about advocating for mental health and she hopes to contribute to the effort of destigmatizing mental health to promote a more inclusive and empathetic community.
Thomas is currently a rising senior at Centennial High School. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and photography, as well as painting and making music, Mental health is a personal topic for Thomas; by volunteering at organizations like MonuMental, he hopes to explore his interests while helping others.
Lucy is currently a rising senior at Atholton High school. Passionate about de-stigmatizing mental health, she hopes to bring her own unique experiences in volunteering to further MonuMental's impact on the community and provide a safe space for teenagers to voice their concerns. Outside of school, Lucy is involved in Science Olympiad, plays violin in several youth orchestras, and loves art!
Julia is a rising senior at Atholton High School. She loves to read, hang out with friends and family, and volunteer in her free time! Julia is the president of the Best Buddies club and the co-president of the Be the Change Club at her high school. She hopes to inform others about mental health and aid in de-stigmatizing it.
Anjali is a rising sophomore at Mount Hebron High School. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and is a huge advocate for self love. Anjali loves music and reading mystery novels. Her favorite subjects are Math and Science and she wants to pursue a career in Medicine. In her free time, she likes to travel and try new things. Through MonuMental, Anjali hopes to spread awareness about mental health.
Social Media Manager
Hrithika is currently a rising senior at Mt. Hebron High School. She enjoys singing, playing the ukulele, reading novels, and starting—but never finishing—knitting projects in her free time. She hopes to use her own experiences to reach out to others, create awareness about mental health, and provide a safe space to discuss it. In the future, Hrithika wants to pursue a career in healthcare.
