Thank you for your interest in joining MonuMental! Prospective members of MonuMental may apply to join any of the volunteering positions below. Each position has different responsibilities, as outlined below. There are no strict requirements for any position, though experience related to the selected position(s) is always beneficial. As always, we greatly appreciate the hard work of each of our volunteers!
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR
As MonuMental Content Creators, individuals will learn how to develop original social media infographic content for a public audience with the Canva application. Content Creators will receive guidance from leadership members and learn marketing strategies through this process, while helping inform and educate others on mental health stigmas. Content Creators may receive up to 30 minutes of service hours per social media post.
WEBSITE BLOG CONTENT WRITER
As MonuMental Blog Writers, individuals will have the opportunity to research and write about a mental health related topic with guidance from executive members. MonuMental Writers will also receive instructions and learn writing strategies through this process. Written articles will be published on the MonuMental Website Blog as well as on our social media pages, further educating viewers. Blog Writers may receive 1.5-3 hours of service per post made.
